The Grizzlies are San Jose’s new NFL team. The mark draws inspiration from the Grizzly Bear which early Californians admired for its power and surprising speed. The California poppy provided inspiration for the color palette.
Angular marks were used to create an active, strong mark, which would resonate with the mostly male target audience, ages 35–65. Stickers were created to engage with younger fans and help them enjoy their early brand experiences.
TT Polls was paired with the mark for its strong character, wide family, and matching script counterpart.
